First birthdays are major. CapFABB’s one-year anniversary party, held at Cities Restaurant & Lounge in DC, definitely didn’t disappoint. In fact, the shindig far surpassed your typical first birthday soiree. Fashion-forward bloggers let loose with custom chic cocktails, delicious appetizers, and a fun photo booth. Just in case that wasn’t enough, the venue was decorated with gorgeously bright flowers provided by H.BLOOM,

One of the event’s top highlights was definitely H.BLOOM’S “Bud Bar,” which offered guests the opportunity to create their own bouquets, accessories, and, most importantly, unique fascinators. I think I could wear a glamorous floral hat every day and really not give a damn. It was so royal wedding. Will+Kate forever.

It was great to catch up with other area bloggers, including Steffie from Thrift and Style and Cortnie of StyleLust Pages. I was also excited to meet new friends, including the lovely Katherine of Healthy Glow. No doubt there was some fabulous fashion to be seen!
